Alan Deutschman is a senior writer for Fast Company, based in San Francisco. In a 15-year career as a writer, Alan has been a contributing editor at Vanity Fair, GQ, and New York Magazine, and the Silicon Valley correspondent for Fortune.
Alanís book The Second Coming of Steve Jobs was a BusinessWeek and Wall Street Journal bestseller and has been translated into Japanese, Chinese, Korean, German, Italian, Dutch, and Portugese. His book A Tale of Two Valleys was published in 2003. His articles have also appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Wired, Salon.com, Premiere, Fast Company, ReadyMade, and the anthology Best Food Writing 2001. A graduate of Princeton University, Alan currently lives in San Francisco.
