John Cook is co-founder and executive editor of TechFlash. He has been covering the technology beat for nearly a decade, writing about startups, entrepreneurs, and venture capital, most recently serving as a reporter/blogger at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. In 2000, he launched the P-I’s Venture Capital Notebook – an online resource for those in the startup and venture capital communities.
Since 1998, John has covered hundreds of entrepreneurial ventures – from Avenue A to Zillow.com. Before joining the P-I in 1999, he covered business and technology for the Eastside Journal in Bellevue. A native of Wooster, Ohio, John started his journalism career in high school, compiling obituary and election information for the Akron Beacon Journal. He graduated from Gettysburg College with a degree in History, earning Phi Beta Kappa recognition and Academic All-American honors in soccer.
