Merix Cunningham is an MBA candidate at Thunderbird School of Global Management with an extensive background in customer service, sales, and marketing. Passionate about working with people, she has 10 years of professional experience, including three years as director of Customer Service for Placeways LLC developing and applying community-mapping software.
Merix graduated from DePauw University with a BA in French. In 2009, she served as an intern for the Association for Experiential Education, streamlining its accreditation process and developing PR and marketing campaigns. Her most recent experience includes working with students, faculty, and staff at Thunderbird to organize and facilitate the Sustainable Innovation Summit, as well as other campus-wide events. She was selected to participate in the Leadership EDGE program, and has been actively involved in the Thunderbird Tower Restoration Project.
Merix will graduate from Thunderbird in May 2010, with a focus on Marketing and CSR. She is currently seeking a position where she can apply her experience managing events in a socially responsible environment.
