Kim Chio manages program and market development for organizations expanding their domestic and international operations. With an extensive career in international sales and marketing, she brings experience in diverse sectors ranging from healthcare to the software industries.
As the Vice Council for the British Consulate Seattle, Kim was the British government's senior representative in the northwest corner of the States, where she provided strategic, operational, and business development counseling to large and small organizations on international expansion, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, finance and capital raising, regulatory compliance, recruitment and migration, and protection of intellectual property. Her work involved close collaboration with the life science and technology associations and organizations in Washington state, as well as institutions in the U.K. and Queensland, Australia.
Kim has organized and hosted conferences, events, tradeshows, and trade missions. She has done intercultural protocol and communications training workshops and seminars on doing business in Europe to over 100 companies and organizations. As a former Peace Corps volunteer and Rotary International exchange student in Brazil, Kim has extensive experience working with nonprofit agencies, as well as the public and private sectors.
