As Regence BlueShield's vice president of Sales, Chris Gorey leads sales and account management for both Regence BlueShield and its Eastern Washington subsidiary.
Chris came to Regence BlueShield from The Trustmark Companies, where he was responsible for identifying and pursuing acquisitions for new growth. Before joining Trustmark, he led a startup venture in the Chicago area that provided a technology solution for outsourcing benefits administration for mid-sized employers. His sales experience includes leadership roles with CoreSource and Humana.
Chris first entered the healthcare arena as an independent consultant with the market strategy group at BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. He began his professional career providing business-process consulting through Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Chris holds an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
