Patricia Kiyono is a veteran editor and writer of print and electronic publications for diverse clients, from tiny nonprofits to immense software developers. Now freelance, she is the former communications director for Densho: The Japanese American Legacy Project, a nonprofit organization in Seattle dedicated to preserving memories of the unjust incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. Her prior position was manager of Foundation Relations for Seattle Arts & Lectures, where she secured major funding for literary lectures and in-school creative writing programs.
Patricia performed substantive editing and project management for Marquand Books, a design firm serving international art museum clients and trade publishers. She has a B.A. in Art History from Oberlin College.
