Tania Weidick, VP of Event Marketing for Oracle, has been with the company since 1998. During this time, she has led a team of 50+ event marketing professionals in the planning and execution of key corporate events, including Oracle's annual conference - Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco - for 50,000+ attendees, as well as OpenWorld globally in China, Brazil, and Japan; product launches; executive events; and analyst and influencer events.
Tania enjoys designing and executing hundreds of events that create buzz and awareness for Oracle solutions in the market through alignment across all marketing disciplines (PR, AR, Advertising, and more) and contributes to the pipeline for sales.
Tania created and led the Oracle Executive Speakers Bureau and Oracle executive events (launching the first CIO focused summits), growing relationships with this audience through thought leadership, within Oracle and externally, and experiential event design.
Prior to Oracle, Tania was a marketing manager at Sotheby's, where she developed and implemented marketing plans annually for 10 expert departments, including Americana, Old Master Paintings, and Fine Jewelry. At Sotheby's she also selected and negotiated media space and supervised the design, production, and distribution of advertising and collateral.
