Bill Crandall is the chief of Advanced Projects at NovaWurks Inc., a provider of high-technology space products and services. He oversees and is responsible for business development and project management at the company.
Bill has more than 25 years of experience working in all aspects of hardware design, including the building process and the testing of high-reliability products. He also has more than 15 years of experience working on space-qualified hardware.
Prior to joining NovaWurks, Bill was at Boeing, where he worked on spacecraft programs from the design phase through real-time launch to on-orbit operations at ground stations. In his career he has also managed teams and directed procurement in the design and production of electronic and mechanical hardware for space and aircraft applications.
Bill has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and completed a certificate program in Astronautical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. He resides in Los Alamitos, California, with his wife and four children.
