Rainey Cornaby is currently pursuing joint master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering (MS) and Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on strategy and finance at the University of Utah. While studying at the David Eccles School of Business, she serves as MBSA vice president of Finance and Engagement, a student-elected leadership position; and co-president of the Strategy and Consulting Club. Preceding the fall semester, Rainey was a summer associate for Impression Ventures, a fintech-focused venture-capital firm based in Toronto, Ontario, where she conducted deal screens and market research.
In 2013, prior to attending business school, Rainey obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University, where she studied Biology and Spanish. Having worked in the varied fields of emergency medical services, surgical research, and device prototyping and commercialization, Rainey has acquired diverse professional experience related to medical and research technologies. Her work and studies have given her the opportunity to collaborate with many interdisciplinary teams, and she enjoys working alongside other impassioned individuals.
