Steve Shillingford

Founder and CEO, Anonyome Labs

Steve Shillingford is an entrepreneur, technologist, and cybersecurity expert. He is the founder and CEO of Anonyome Labs, maker of MySudo. A reformed data miner, Steve is a staunch consumer-privacy advocate with more than 25 years of experience driving innovation and growth at industry-leading technology companies.

Prior to founding Anonyome Labs in 2014, Steve served as president and CEO of Solera Networks, which was instrumental in defending enterprise and government organizations against zero-day attacks and advanced persistent threats. Steve led Solera to a successful exit in 2013 when the company was acquired by Blue Coat Systems, where it formed the basis of Blue Coat's "Advanced Threat Protection" platform.

Before working at Solera, Steve held sales, marketing, and operations roles at Oracle and Novell Inc., where he focused on enterprise networking and identity management solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises.

Steve has a BS in Psychology with Honors from Brigham Young University and MBAs from Columbia University Business School and the University of California at Berkeley.

As an industry expert on data mining, cybersecurity, and identity management, Steve has appeared on CNN, Fox News, and The Kim Komando Show. He is a regular speaker at worldwide technology, business, and security events, where he speaks about privacy, big data, advanced threat protection, and security intelligence and analytics.
