Lee Hall is the project leader for SNS's Earth Energy Monitoring System (E2MS) initiative, which is the continuation of the 2016 FiRe CTO Design Challenge. He is leading the volunteer team through formation to identify product / market fit, business model, and product development.
Through Clew Group LLC, Lee provides business operations, sales, and information technology consulting in the manufacturing, SaaS, aerospace, finance, and telecommunications industries. He is skilled at clearly identifying business and customer opportunities followed by applying effective tailored solutions in a range of areas, including program management, customer engagement and closing strategies, and business and technology architectures for big and small projects to improve performance.
Lee has created seven startups as an entrepreneur and as an intrapreneur in enterprise organizations. Highlights of these startups include the sale of a vertical software company and creation of products and services that generate more than $500M in annual revenue and over $100M in annual cost savings. Lee led the creation of a platform that enabled several more new multimillion-dollar revenue products. Many of these products are in use in over 170 countries. Additionally, Lee negotiated and closed complex multimillion-dollar deals across the globe for new and unproven products.
Lee has the passion and skills to clearly define opportunities and build teams to deliver on them. His experience ranges from acquiring funding, product definition / market fit, and business integration to systems of systems architecture, product development, customer engagement, and program and financial management. Lee is a hands-on leader who gets things done. He has been successful in startup, midsize, and global enterprises by being a results-driven team player and a customer-centric thinker.
Lee has been nominated for a Smithsonian Award in eCommerce and co-authored five patents. He and his wife, Vicki, are blessed with five grandchildren.
