Anthony Gillet is the manager of Direct-to-Consumer Mobile Client Development at Nuance Communications, based in its Burlington, Massachusetts, office. He came to Nuance in 2007 as part of VoiceSignal Technologies. In the past, Anthony has worked on many projects across the spectrum of the mobile division of Nuance, including Nuance's Dragon apps for iOS (Dragon Go!, Dragon Dictation, Dragon Search), as well as integration and customization work for telecommunication carriers and mobile phone manufacturers who have licensed Nuance technology for use in their products. He was also the lead developer for the Nuance Mobile Developer Program SDK for iOS, which makes it possible for anyone to leverage Nuance-powered speech recognition in their app.
Anthony currently leads a team that develops cutting-edge mobile applications for iOS and Android that leverage Nuance's deep technology portfolio in both speech recognition and natural-language understanding. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to app development, but Anthony's experience in the mobile ecosystem and familiarity with speech technologies lend him a unique, big-picture perspective which allows him to take the powerful services Nuance has to offer and combine them into compelling mobile experiences.
