Elizabeth Clark will graduate from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in the spring of 2013 with an MBA in International Management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in World Economy and Business from Ohio State University, Columbus.
Originally from Osgood, Indiana, Elizabeth currently lives and works in Washington, DC. Over the past four years, she has worked in management consulting and is currently working in the Department of Defense. Prior to moving to Washington, DC, she worked in Cairo, Egypt, for Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a risk-management and market-research analyst. While in Egypt, Elizabeth saw the large disparity between the growing middle class and the poor. This led to her interest in economic development, and upon completion of her MBA, she hopes to work on bridging the economic divide through business generation.
While working on her undergraduate degree, Elizabeth was the vice president of Marketing for Ohio State's chapter of AIESEC - the world's largest student-run organization - which offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, change the world, and develop leadership skills.
Elizabeth's favorite philanthropic organization is Ashoka, which is focused on bringing together the social sector with the private sector to solve some of the world's largest societal problems. She is also an avid traveler and enjoys horseback riding, snowboarding, and yoga.
