Thought Leader Profile

Marshall Kirkpatrick

VP of Research, Sprinklr

I started my career as a news-breaking technology blogger. I was the first reporter to utilize real-time automated monitoring to cover the consumer tech industry. That lead to me being the first writer hired at TechCrunch. I was also the first journalist in the world to source news stories from Twitter, now a world-wide practice. I went on to co-edit tech blog ReadWriteWeb, which syndicated articles to the New York Times at my discretion.

I productized my expert-finding & listening knowledge into a startup called Little Bird, which was funded by Mark Cuban, Jason Calacanis, and many other investors. Between my career as a journalist and the data we surfaced at Little Bird, my work has been quoted or cited by the Wall St. Journal (12x), New York Times, BBC, NPR, PBS, ABC, CBS, MSNBC and many other media organizations. The United Nations and the American Medical Association, too.

In 2016, I sold Little Bird to the fastest-growing enterprise marketing tech startup in the world, Sprinklr, and am now a Vice President there.
