James Keane leads Greenroom Robotics with a mission to deliver safer, cleaner, and more protected oceans through the ethical application of maritime autonomy and AI. He is focused on expanding Greenroom Robotics' global impact across defense, commercial, and transport sectors.
James is a former Royal Australian Navy marine engineer specializing in sub-surface autonomous systems. He has published seven articles on autonomous underwater systems in peer-reviewed journals. An accomplished sailor, he has competed in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race as part of the Happy Wanderer crew, composed of current and former Australian Defence Force personnel.
