» The Role of Advertising

          In Business, Economics, and Society

In the thinking, writing, and speaking I’ve done recently on causes of the economic collapse, I continue to return to the idea that honesty (or the lack thereof), at many levels, was the root cause of our problems. From this perspective, the haunting question of whether this empire has reached its end on a spiritual basis, or an ethical one, falls into sharp focus. Can any empire continue, which is not honest with itself?
