Each year, before I talk about the technology predictions for the year, I try to establish a useful context for SNS members by describing what I think may happen on the global economic landscape. Those who read last week’s “Top Ten Technology Predictions for 2010” will know that I expect this coming year to be one of dramatic changes, shifting platforms and market shares, and lots of new players and products, with opportunities galore for startups and uncertainty for entrenched winners.
