» Five Things About Q4

Every year, around this time, I publish an estimate of what Q4, the "Christmas Quarter," will look like, particularly from the perspective of technology markets. For almost all vendors, it represents the busiest quarter of the year, often by large percentages, and so it plays a unique role in technology firm planning, and even in questions as esoteric as that of platform war winners.

This Q4 is considerably more complex than in all of the past years we've been writing (since 1995), and that may be one more good reason for SNS members to be interested.
