Fittingly, our final planned FiRe in the Rockies began with a beautiful sudden snowstorm.

As we prepare to shift our focus
back to the West Coast, we'd like to thank everyone at the Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley for their unerring professionalism and gracious support over the past four years. We wish we could take them with us, but at least we take comfort in knowing that in one form or another, we'll be back. We're sure many FiRe attendees will also return for their own reasons soon, and often.

Great thanks for this week's issue to the indefatigable Arunabh Satpathy, who blogged and shaped the review of every session in these pages.

(Blog posts have been edited and expanded for this edition; please refer any comments or corrections to me at sally@stratnews.com.)

And continuing thanks photographer-sorcerer Kris Krg, the talent behind all of the images here, unless otherwise noted, as well as all those in the FiRe galleries since 2015. See all of KK's FiRe 2018 photos here: gallery.futureinreview.com/FiRe-2018.

Reminder to FiRe attendees: You can privately and securely contact other FiRe participants from the Mailroom link at the top of the FiRe homepage at www.futureinreview.com

We hope you enjoy entering or re-entering the deep world of FiRe, that you learn something you hadn't previously known you were curious about, and that we may see you in person at FiRe 2019 in La Jolla. - Sally Anderson, Editor-in-Chief and Production Manager, SNS, FiRe, and FiReFilms
