Theresa May's Finish

To All SNS Members:

Until this year, I have considered David Cameron to be the worst PM in British history since Neville Chamberlain buddied up with Hitler.

After all, David was stupid enough to invite the Scots to vote on seceding from Britain - a vote that nearly destroyed the UK. To follow that act, he put up the referendum that led to Brexit, with the Russians helping along the way. Other than destroying Britain, and the EU, what else did he do?

My favorite remains inviting the Chinese Communist Party - through its pet project, Huawei - into the communications backbone of his country, ostensibly because it was cheaper, and despite the warnings against such a foolish move by the GCHQ and MI6 (UK's Secret Intelligence Service). This decision was made at the same time as: a) Huawei offered to build a $1B "security center" to police itself, run by itself; and b) China's leader appeared to have handed a $1B check to Cameron in public, as kind of a getting-to-know-you gift.

This would normally be enough to earn the above distinction. But what most people missed was more important: immediately after the Huawei deal was announced, then-Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne went on a multi-week (yes, that's unheard of) trip to China, where he was rewarded with billions of dollars in "deals" by the CCP.

In America, we call this bribery, not free trade.

Jump now to last week, when PM Theresa May, having been told again by the GCHQ and MI6 not to allow Huawei into the new British 5G communications network, did just that, chairing a National Security Council meeting on the subject. SNS members are smart enough to guess what happened next: one day after May's decision to give Huawei her approval, current Chancellor Philip Hammond flew to China to collect the money.

What do you say about a PM willing to sell her country's security in return for money - money supplied by her greatest security threat?

Apparently someone from the NSC leaked news about the internal discussions of the event to The Daily Telegraph, and May decided it was Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson, whom she then fired. He denies it.

Regardless of who leaked, the real question is not about the leaker, but about the PM and her role in forcing Huawei onto her security advisors, and soon, the British public.

I have been expecting the Conservatives to dump May over her horrible Brexit performance, with both Ireland and Scotland planning to leave the UK.

Now, I think her end will be hastened by selling Britain's security to its greatest enemy - for the second time.
