Sridhar Jagannathan
Vice President, Technology Strategy and Partnerships, Office of the CTO, Intuit
Dr. Sridhar Jagannathan is vice president of Technology Strategy and Partnerships in the CTO Office of Intuit Inc., responsible for defining and executing Intuit's technology strategy, partnerships, and M&A. His current focus areas include social, mobile, and global aspects of cloud computing and creating a connected services economy.
Earlier, Sridhar was VP of Technology for Softbank Emerging Markets, a $200M fund focused on early-stage investments in emerging markets. While at Softbank, Sridhar had responsibility for all technology aspects of SoftBank Emerging Markets, including technical due diligence, technology partnerships, and guidance to joint venture companies. Prior to joining SoftBank, Sridhar was chief technology officer and co-founder of Adatom.com Inc., an e-commerce marketplace.
Sridhar is the author of the e-commerce book Internet Commerce Metrics and Models (Prentice Hall, 2001) and teaches a "Business Models, Metrics and Operations" course at Stanford University. He has a doctorate in Ocean Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a master's degree (Sloan Fellow) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a B.Tech (Hons) in Naval Architecture from IIT, Kharagpur.
Sridhar's passion is for enabling the education of the disadvantaged, and he has created a model (Creating an Ecosystem for Microfinancing of Vocational Education) and implemented this perpetual-funding model with Myrada, a nonprofit organization near Bangalore.
