Wendy Dent is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, speaker, entrepreneur of new media platforms, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader 2013-2018, and independent consultant advising think tanks, NGOs, and government on international issues, strategy, film, and technology.

In 2012-2013, Wendy served as Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts. Her documentaries, filmed across five continents, have been acquired by universities and screened at international film festivals around the globe. She is also the founder and CEO of Cinemmerse, the Industry Intervention, and new media platforms in development. Her writing has been published in leading scholarly and trade magazines.

Wendy has been a guest speaker at Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, USC, and Columbia universities, and interviewed about international politics on CNN International. She is the recipient of international film festival awards and an Australian national youth achievement award.
