Nick Psyhogeos

Nick Psyhogeos is the chief legal, intellectual property, and growth officer of Pattern Computer Inc.
Nick, a legal and business leader with 25 years of global technology experience, spent a good portion of his career as an equity partner at Microsoft, spending nearly 19 years leading large organizations across the company. In his last role at MSFT, Nick served as president of Microsoft Technology Licensing (2013â2017), heading up the company's patent subsidiary and its $1B patent licensing business. In that capacity, Nick and his team closed IP deals valued at over $250M with some of the largest companies in the industry. Prior to that role, Nick served as vice president, OEM (2005â2013), leading the Windows Pricing & Licensing organization as part of its multibillion-dollar business with its PC manufacturers.
Nick began his career as a law clerk to the Rhode Island Supreme Court and as an IP litigator at a national law firm in Boston (Holland & Knight).
For the past five years, Nick has been named to IAM magazine's "Top Global IP Strategist" list. He has been a regular contributor to Money Inc. and a guest lecturer at the University of Washington's Foster School of Business on innovation and leadership. In 2017, he authored the book Confessions of a Global Negotiator: A Quick Guide to the Five Rules Business Development Professionals Need to Close Great Deals, the recipient of a Gold Award from the Nonfiction Authors Association book awards.
In addition to his professional activities, Nick dedicates time to charitable organizations, including Seattle's Ronald McDonald House and the Boots to Shoes Foundation - an organization that supports 21st-century military veterans by helping them successfully transition into civilian jobs.
