Thought Leader Profile

Feyi Olopade Ayodele

Co-Founder & CEO, CancerIQ

Feyi Olopade Ayodele, co-Founder and CEO of CancerIQ, received both her bachelors degree and her MBA from The Wharton School. Prior to CancerIQ, she worked as a management consultant, investor, and investment banker at McKinsey, Actis LLP, and Credit Suisse, respectively. Her journey with Cancer IQ began in 2012, when Feyi wanted to be more of a participant in the healthcare sector than a bystander. On a family trip to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, she hatched a plan to defer her position at McKinsey and commercialize the work of her mother, a renowned medical oncologist. While at University of Chicago Medicine, Feyi witnessed the most cutting-edge clinical care and identified a number of bottlenecks that constrained patient access to it. In 2013, CancerIQ was born.

After recruiting a board of thought-leading advisors spearheaded by her mother, Feyi led the product design effort, raised capital, and recruited a team to help her flesh out the concept. Since then, CancerIQ has garnered support from top accelerator programs, investors, and, most important, customers. Feyi leads the business development team at CancerIQ and manages all strategic partnerships. She is a Chicago Booth New Venture Challenge winner, a Rock Health fellow, and winner of 1776s Global Challenge Cup.
