Dr. Anthony Chang is a passionate and accomplished scientist, educator, and healthcare pioneer whose goal is to revolutionize the treatment of cancer and Alzheimers, Parkinsons, and cardiovascular diseases. In 2016, Anthony founded Rethink Imaging, now BAMF Health, with a critical mission to save lives by coupling artificial intelligence with non-invasive molecular imaging and molecular targeted radiation therapy, Theranostics, for precise early diagnosis and effective treatment.

Anthony is on the forefront of discovering and developing high-tech breakthrough diagnostic methods and treatments for diseases, with a primary focus on cancer. From his work with leading academic medical centers, he has developed cutting-edge systems for facilitating clinical translation studies (trials), including comprehensive facility management, automated image fusion, and atlas-based segmentation to achieve high-throughput real-time image analysis.

His research interest is in translating new imaging technology into the clinic, especially on PET. In the capacity of CEO of the biotech company BAMF Health, Anthony focuses on expediting patient access to advanced molecular imaging and Theranostic technologies, helping to achieve true precision personalized medicine. He is bringing the vision to life through tracer development and commercialization, AI-based imaging analysis methodology, translational studies, application research, and education.

Anthony holds a BS in Medical Imaging and Radiological Sciences from Chang Gung University, Taiwan. He received postgraduate training in Biomedical Engineering at Yale Universitys NMR Center and Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science. He earned his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, specializing in diagnostic imaging physics.
