Get the source material behindthe most-viewed 60 Minutes investigative episode in history, until now aCabinet-level briefing book, on the world's most important information: howdoes China make its money, at what cost to the world, and what happens next?
Since our last discussioninvolved Augmented Reality, it seemed the right time to move from where thereal money is to where the heat is. Despite its technical complexity, there arereally only a few questions about virtual reality (VR) that matter. We'll tryto cover all of them here this week. Here is my version of the short list: Question #1: Is it real? Question #2: Are there physicalissues, such as nausea, that limit users or time onboard? Question #3: Is the usertethered? Question #4: Does the user needto buy a new PC for an effective experience? Question #5: Are there reallysubstantial markets beyond entertainment, or is this just more of the same hypewe saw in prior cycles? And: Question #6: Will most PCs bedriving a VR headset?
