IRAN'S NUKES, TRUMP'S PLAN FOR WINNING, AND N. Members will already know that SNS was the first to coin the term for the most important military alliance in the world today - CRINK, standing for China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. This week, with confirmation that NK is sending not only armaments, but also troops, into the Russian war against Ukraine, the slight imbalance regarding NK's role is now corrected, as it moves into full-blown treaty partnership. Already a proxy vassal of China, which supplies 90%+ of its energy, NK seemed to be affirming its more active status in the alliance by cutting off all roads to South Korea, increasing military nuclear threats to SK (hard to imagine), and, of course, dumping balloon-borne garbage bags onto the SK prime minister's residence. Until last week, we had taken to calling NK "the Indiana of China." No offense intended, Indiana members. At this moment, we want to raise the alarm that CRINK is more than an idea or an alliance; it now appears to be a full-fledged, treaty-driven, interdependent wartime alliance, driven by a commitment to at least counter - and more likely do harm to - the US. In so doing, it will also be taking on most of the West, even as it works overtime to divide all of the West's alliance members and erode or pervert its international institutions, from SWIFT to the UN to the IMF to the WHO to the WTO and more. |
