The WEAPONIZATION OF evS

By Mark Anderson

_________

Why Read: We warned the world about this before China made its move. Some years later, so did Elon Musk, noting in January 2024 that without tariffs, the Chinese would "pretty much demolish most other car companies in the world." But on May 23, he said he favors "no tariffs" on Chinese EVs; it seems they got to him.

Well, they didn't get to SNS, and this week we will examine the all-out worldwide attack being mounted by China against literally every national economy - except that of the US, now protected by high tariffs. For those members who are now, in the wake of our Top 10 Predictions 2026, seeing China as the first "global economic parasite," this will be a useful object lesson. - mra.

Setting the Stage

Throughout history, China has been open about its overriding goal: to be the dominant global power. It pursues this goal by using InfoMercantile economic attack as the primary force in this "all-fronts" war.

The Product

If you wanted to dominate the world economy, the electric vehicle (EV) would be the perfect weapon. As with every other major Chinese product, all the technologies in this product category had to be stolen from other countries, and it was no secret that virtually all of them were on the Politburo's list of top intellectual property (IP) theft targets.

SNS members will recall our early warnings on this process, including a partial list of these key theft-targeted global technologies, in our issue "SNS: What Is a Car? Part II."

We explained at that time that winning in the single product category of EVs would mean winning in most, if not all, of the list's subcategories. Once this was obvious, watching the CCP proceed with the attack was an inevitable, self-fulfilling exercise:

  1. Steal all of the IP needed (see "Updates" below for list)

  2. Create an artificial plethora of EV car companies through massive subsidization, resulting in hundreds of profitless contenders

  3. Let them fight it out for the limited seats at the global export winning window

  4. Kill off the 280 or so out of 300 and further subsidize the remaining few.

  5. Send these out into the world to sell EVs at a fraction (as little as one-half) the price of production

  6. Decimate the competing car industry players worldwide, country by country.

Today, we are somewhere between steps 5 and 6 in the CCP's plan.
